We ship orders Monday through Thursday, and most orders leave our greenhouse the same or next business day.

During especially busy restocks or periods of high order volume, processing may take up to 3 business days.

Orders placed Friday through Sunday will begin shipping the following Monday. We try to avoid sending packages late in the week when they may spend unnecessary time sitting in transit over the weekend.

Once your order ships, you'll receive tracking information by email.

How long does shipping take?

Standard shipping typically takes approximately 3–4 business days in transit, while upgraded shipping generally takes approximately 2–3 business days.

Please remember that these are estimated transit times after your order leaves our greenhouse. Carrier delays, severe weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside of our control can occasionally extend delivery times.

Cold & Freezing Weather

We do ship plants throughout the winter.

We have found that traditional heat packs can sometimes do more harm than good by overheating our plants. Because of this, we do not routinely add heat packs to orders.

When temperatures at your destination are expected to fall below freezing, we will automatically add insulating materials to your package when appropriate. You do not need to purchase or request this separately.

During particularly severe winter weather, we may temporarily hold an order if we believe shipping would put the plants at unreasonable risk. Our top priority is always getting your plants to you safely. In the event plants are damaged by the cold in transit, we are happy to offer replacements or a refund.

Holidays & Carrier Delays

Our normal Monday through Thursday schedule may occasionally change around major holidays.

When a holiday creates an extended carrier closure or is likely to leave packages sitting in a facility over a long weekend, we may hold orders until normal carrier operations resume.

Holiday periods can also bring significantly higher package volume for USPS and UPS. While we continue to pack and ship orders as quickly as possible, carrier transit times may be longer than usual during these periods.

Our Shipping Season

We are a seasonal nursery. Our typical season runs from approximately October through June.

We generally close our online plant shop during the hottest part of summer and reopen in the fall. This gives us time to work in our greenhouses, prepare for the next season, and avoid shipping succulents in extreme heat.

Exact opening and closing dates can vary from year to year, so please check our website and social media for current seasonal announcements.

Free Shipping

Orders of $75 or more ship free within the Continental United States.

If you place multiple qualifying orders that can be safely combined into one shipment, we will combine them whenever possible and refund any applicable shipping overages automatically.

A Note About Shipping Live Plants

Plants in transit may experience darkness, temperature changes, dehydration, and stress while traveling.

Some temporary loss of color, minor leaf loss, or dehydration can occur during shipping and does not necessarily indicate an unhealthy plant. We carefully inspect plants before they leave our greenhouse and pack them to make their journey as safely as possible.
